Old Port is among the most profitable revitalized warehouse districts in the nation. On weekend nights, a number of blocks within the Old Town Chinatown neighborhood are closed to automobiles, making it straightforward to go to the realm's many dance clubs and bars. Forget the tacky bach get together favors nobody will ever use once more. Instead, make your personal leather koozie, clutch or luggage tags at DIY Bar whereas sipping beer, cider, wine or kombucha.
Check out the travel info When I had drinks, they were poorly poured and not on time. And for some purpose everyone seems to be at Pearl listening to the same playlist again and again from that DJ Jay-C (especially on a Saturday evening - you assume the dude would play one thing new). At this point, Juan, burst via the stall door which shoved my friend into the wall and demanded to see his hands and asked if he was doing medication. Joe was after all not doing mentioned "drugs" (he is a nurse for Christ's sake).
It's definitely my least favorite bar to go to in Portland. Was attracted by the glittering neon lights from the second flooring.
Juan, the bouncer, then stormed out and Joe adopted to easily and calmly ask Juan to apologize for the shoving of the door, and power hungry Juan immediately decides to kick him out, which I guess is his prerogative. Not letting Joe alert his friends and then kicking out the chums who came over to ask what was happing and pushing Joe out the door, he ended our night time night time and patronage at Oasis. A nice loop starting at Back Cove, Portland, crossing the Presumpscot River, and doing a fast tour of the island, with its rocky shore. Take the 20-minute ferry over to Peaks Island, and luxuriate in a wonderful 4-mile perimeter tour of the island, with great water and Portland skyline views. This is a nice tour of Portland’s Old Port main downtown space.
The bar has all of the instruments and materials you’ll need to make a whole menu of projects that embody the Portland vibe. Everyone in the group can select a project for themselves, which vary in problem from anybody-can-do-it to professional-crafters solely.
They only let girls up on the ledge and did not let my friend in with his military I.D. It's a type of bars you hear about folks getting roofied at too. There are a lot better bars to go to around the Warf street space by far.
