I don't think 1000 bucks for what you had done is unreasonable. I personally would rather pay more for first class work than a little less for so so work. We have not gotten the first call back for anything. Glenn and his staff have reworked numerous sets of heads for me over the years. The work was always perfect, the price is always more than fair and they always been ready when promised, if not sooner. Would not even consider taking my machine work elsewhere.
