Naturism as selfdefence
In beach girl was sailing a very beaten up schooner called "Gloria" around the Caribbean islands which make up the Grenadines. This schooner I'd bought with almost the last of my money for f1500. We had many experiences, not least was the oil pressure on the engine going AWOL. But eventually we did fetch up in St Lucia. There beach gallery -joined us and one of the crew left.
Our next stop was the island of Bequia, the pilot novel warned that the holding for the anchor in the main bay wasn't too good and to be careful of yachts pulling their anchors. We came in during a gale strength squall, complete with flat rain (warm), without an engine the manoeuvre was a trifle challenging. Nevertheless we didn't hit anything and came to rest in a fairly sheltered area. Myself and buddy Edmund donned snorkels and masks and dived to check said anchor, it was not dug in very well at all, so I piled some stone on it. Afterward after surfacing we place another anchor out to make sure. beach bum was that the sea bed wasn't very deep sand over coral, and the anchor was having trouble biting.
A few nights later during another squall I 'd my slumber disturbed by the unmistakable sound of twin diesels going hard astern, on issuing from my berth and running topsides I saw a large catamaran quite close to our bow taking evasive action. He had clearly pulled his anchor and only managed to miss us and retrieve his gear before going away to try again someplace else.
beach bum was rein acted several times over our stay in the many Islands. We did not drag, with no engine we could not manage to, so we put down tons of chain and an additional anchor at every stop. Nonetheless, after beach girl got hit by two yachts one night in the same time, I resolved to find a solution to this issue. You beloved fellow naturist s will enjoy the answer I found to this problem.
The group of yacht uses we'd most trouble with were the ones who charter their yachts, some of these folks have not had lots of experience in Anchoring, and there's quite a lot of technology to what on the surface appears a easy manoeuvre. These folks, tend not to have spent large amount of time in close proximity to others as in a little yacht surroundings. These people are the kind which never have come face to face with naked human bodies except in certain situations. In fact I found that if I seemed naked in the cockpit while I read a novel and waved to the just arriving charter yachts of an evening, they'd go right over to the different side of the bay, "hey presto" problem sorted!)
