Minecraft has had its fair share of real-world crossovers but there's nothing quite like this. Rock it like a hurricane Norway's annual The Gathering tech conference is performing live both in real life and in Minecraft tonight at 9PM local time (4PM Eastern), with participants resembling the artists of Minecraft while they dance around the stage. This isn't a minor production. AlunaGeorge Broiler, Lemaitre and Broiler are all on hand and you can be sure of a lot of fun, regardless of whether you're watching the real artists or their pixelated avatars.

It's not going to be able to replicate the feel of the real thing, but it may have a more personal feeling than watching a video. This also means that there's a limited amount of space. The organizers have stated that there will be only enough space for around two to three thousand people So you'll need to hop on the Minecraft server immediately (if you're reading this in time) to have a chance of seeing what all the controversy is about.
