Minecraft Reveals Lightyear Collaboration DLC Availability Now

A Minecraft DLC inspired by Lightyear by Pixar has new content, including Buzz's original story. According to the Minecraft blog The Lightyear DLC will feature five missions. 30TT These missions allow players to fight off enemies using various tools, face hostile environments, and fly a variety of aircraft to avoid obstacles.

"In the Lightyear DLC, players can experience the story of Buzz and help him navigate an extraterrestrial planet following an unfortunate crash landing," says a portion of the post. You can play five missions as this hero who has been trained by the Academy. They include an arid swamp and a hostile jungle and a mine and various alien settlements.

The Lightyear DLC will also include the free Lightyear-themed Character Creator item. It's currently not available on Nintendo Switch, but the blog post stated that it will be available on the console "soon." Players who own the other versions of Minecraft can download it for free as DLC via the storefronts for their respective consoles.
