The Global Takeover Of Minecraft Earth Beta Starts This Month

It's been a few months since we first heard about Minecraft Earth, the augmented reality version of Mojang's game that gives the real world playscape filled with your own blocksy creations. It promised a beta release of the game would arrive this summer , and now it's out, along with a brand new trailer, the company claims it will launch on iOS within the next two weeks, with Android following "soon following that."



After seeing live gameplay at WWDC last month, the announcement of iOS-first isn't a surprise. The trailer provides more details about the game. SERVER TRACKER It's still worth taking a look at the Apple demo to see the game's features and if you have any queries.



To be one of the first players to gain access, you'll need sign up for the free game right here (you'll need a device running at least iOS 10 or Android 7 to participate, according to the FAQ). Access to the game is restricted as they adjust the load to servers. However you must be logged in to remain in it. If you don't play for seven consecutive days, another player will get your slot.
