To put things into a quick view I am a relative beginner to social nudism I view social nudism as a sub culture to the prevalent culture of the areastate to which the social nudists belong

In beach bum -culture community of societal nudists I'm very interested in keeping the idea of personal privacy. We don't have the same concept of personal privacy as the cloths.

For Textiles, the complete concept of private privacy has a modesty to immodesty ratio that greatly tends toward modesty - from our point of view. Our entire concept of personal privacy greatly leans toward immodesty - from their perspective. Theirs and our limits of personal privacy are in distinct places. beach party - within our community. Our immodesty has limits, however. I am interested in finding where those limits, both for myself and for the established community.
I recall being on my first visit of the local club, and getting the tour around the grounds. I was surprised at finding the showers were unisex and open-plan. Thinking back beach babes makes sense, but back then I was coming from a point of view of a just-coming-out closet nudist (basically a cloth). Textiles see showering as somewhat toilet-orientated. I think most nudist do not. A number of us are just not comfortable about washing all their bits and butts with others. Those areas need a focused effort if it's definitely going to be done properly. I am now comfortable giving the regions a quick once-over. Everyone's got bits and bottoms after all.
Dressing and undressing is inherently 'Textile'. Us doing it communally makes our undergarments less modesty items than just practical clothes items for heat. Almost all of use will simply put on or take off at will, without the need of some solitude to do so. Textile street fashions - especially girls' fashion - are moving toward being less modest. Over beach party have been worn lower to show off the panties beneath. Tops are more translucent, showing bras and camisoles beneath. Skirts are made in this way that the they are easily blown up by the wind. There's a slow tendency to being less humble and more - in a way - nudist.
I give it 50 years and New Zealand will be a social nudist nation. Our personal privacy will extend to having unisex open-plan showers at the neighborhood swimming pool. I hope I can see the years outside until then.
